Neller is the leading Australian supplier of on-demand software systems to manage people. Neller was founded in 1976, a pioneer developer of computerised payroll systems in the Australian market place. It remains today a privately owned Australian company focused on being the leading supplier of people management solutions.
Preceda On Demand, is a fully integrated browser-based total HR solution. Neller's reputation as a leading technology developer and provider continued in the 1990's as an early adopter of client/server technology and again at the turn of the new millennium when in 2000 they were the first payroll/HR vendor to introduce a totally browser based, on-demand solution.
Business Challenge
Neller provides their customers flexibility and value by providing development services to customise their HR solutions. They have an extensive development team at their headquarters in Adelaide. Due to concurrent client projects and increasing demands they needed to supplement their in-house development capabilities. Solution
They chose Lateral's Managed Services to provide remote development from Lateral's Business Solution Centre based in Perth. A team of Lateral developers were given training in the product by Neller. With their technical skills and experience the Lateral team was soon up to speed and working as an extension of Neller’s development group. Results
While an external managed service was a new experience for Neller, a productive relationship was built quickly, with both sides working to streamline the process.
